Great tasting food and very friendly service. Went for lunch and it is a very casual restaurant
The food is good. Not the most flavorful Indian food in the CSRA, but it is good. There are not as many varieties of meal options as other Indian restaurants either. The waitstaff is very prompt and cordial. The restaurant is very clean, well lit, and decorated well.
A local friend brought me here while visiting and it was so incredibly good! I got the butter chicken & a mango lassi and she got the chicken tikka masala. I would definitely go back. It's a small place but they weren't too busy in a Thursday night, likely due to the holidays and unexpectedly cold weather for Georgia.
My husband likes Indian cuisine but I do not. I agreed to go to Taj of India with an open mind. One could not help being impressed with the service, the attentiveness of the staff and the excellent menu choices. I chose wine, rare for me but my favorite was on their wine list. We were only there 10 minutes when the restaurant started to get busy. But despite the crowd, we were comfortable in our corner table and able to have a quiet conversation. On the wall hung the many awards Taj has earned over there years. Very impressive. I am sorry to have to report that despite my open mind I could had a hard time finishing my meal. You either like this cuisine or you don't. But if you do, please check out this fine venu
